Her cousin was like a sister to her. I mean there was this time they both went out with me and her cousin’s boyfriend, Zack, and they were just alike. However, they were completely different in what comes to looks, but in what comes to the personality of a person, I swear if I couldn’t distinguish their voices, I wouldn’t recognize who was who.

Now to the point… Even though I was so deeply in love with her, my girlfriend of course, and even though she was all I had ever wanted to have as my girlfriend, I kept wishing I was Zack that day. I didn’t know why, and I didn’t find out until later, either. Well, my girlfriend was all I could have, we were just perfect for each other, but for some reason that didn’t feel like it was enough… Deep inside I wished for a more, well, “carnal” relationship. But not with her…

Her name was Iris. Our relationship felt like pure gold, everything felt right with her. We were tied together like a baby is tied to his mother since birth, with bonds of utter and beautiful gold. Okay maybe I’m overreacting, but maybe I’m not. Our love for each other was so deep…You wouldn’t believe it if I told you our entire story… And I’m not going to either, because this story isn’t about her and I…

Alright I know so far this sounds dirty, right? But it’s really not like that, not yet, at least. Her cousin’s name was Michelle… And the first time she actually said something to me was asking me “who in the hell” I was… My cellphone was broken and I borrowed one from Iris, so she gave hers to me and tried to call Michelle, from whom she wanted to borrow a cell from too, so I could hold on to hers until mine was fixed. She didn’t answer the call and later she texted me.

We talked about the “cellphone situation”. I’d never been with her personally by then. But from that day forward, for some reason, it all changed and she and Zack started to grow closer to us. We all became good friends and hung out sometimes. The first time was what I mentioned… Zack was a great guy, he was really laid back and relaxed, and so was I. Although, I was the one who was always joking around and all…

That day it all changed. It wasn’t the first time I was with Michelle, but it was the first time I met Zack personally. The night before exactly, it was Iris’ mother’s anniversary, and yes, I was invited to it. Basically I spent all evening with Michelle and Iris in the latter’s bedroom. It was fun.
Zack and I weren’t always like that, though. We used to be real douchebags. Much more than you can imagine from what I’ve told you. Iris and Michelle were the ones who made us change. They made us men… Sorry douchebags out there, but to be a real man, you don’t follow the bro code, you follow your heart, and I don’t want to sound like a faggot, but that’s exactly just how it is.

Zack had cheated on Michelle before, hell I even shoved Iris away from me, a little harder than I should have. You have no idea how hard it was for both of us to apologize. And if you think I’ve changed, you should see him. He spent entire days and nights apologizing, at best. Me and Iris, we just got over it that night and it was alright. We both were kind of “mean”, per say, to each other at a point in our relationship…But it all passed.
